MATH: Throughout the school year, students will be encouraged to take on a math challenges focussing on making mistakes, getting/planning through them, while building appreciation in the value of looking at misconceptions, concept of several paths to a destination & re-strategizing their ideas/plans. Leap Frog Challenge

MEDIA LITERACY: students will be creating Motivational Posters for our class community space; "What does success mean to you?" (introduction to Google Classroom and Google Drawing)

Indoor/Outdoor Shoes: to maintain our flexible seating options in our class community and to be prepared for gym during physical activities, please bring a pair of indoor shoes to wear during the instructional day and kept in their backpacks at the end of the day.


Class Community: Students have been asked to bring in one or two objects that share a bit about who they are (interests/passion) and their favourite book to share during their assigned date/time. Students, please review the task/handout in order to be prepared for your sharing :)

The Toronto Public Library is a wonderful place to borrow and sign out books or ebooks. I have sent home a copy of a form to apply for a library card as we will be visiting them to sign out books and take part in events this school year.

Students, please share with your parent(s)/guardian(s) how to navigate through and visit our Room 204 in Action blog throughout the school year. Remember to visit often :)

Students have their Room 204 welcome letter to share with parents. 

Please discuss and return/complete online forms as we begin to showcase/highlight our class community of learners in our class Twitter account (@McM_MsT) and other forums.

Agendas: each student has received an agenda of a monthly layout to schedule class activities, excursions and team events for the school year. Keep agendas in your backpack.
