Girls Make Games Toronto

Do you have a daughter, granddaughter, niece, or loved one between the ages of 8 and 16 that would be interested in designing, programming, and publishing her own video game?

We invite you to take part in, Thomson Reuters sponsored Girls Make Games event!

What is Girls Make Games?
Girls Make Games is an international game development program designed to inspire elementary - high school girls to learn game design, programming, and entrepreneurship through workshops. To date, GMG camp alumni have published games on Xbox, Steam, and raised over $75,000 on Kickstarter.

What will the girls learn in one afternoon?
   + Intro to game programming
   + Game design and animation
   = Create your own video game!
Workshop will be led by professional game developers!

* using Google Sites students are to reflect on their learning, 1-2 entries per week, suggestions shared in spreadsheet will grow as the year goes on

Students had a sneak peek this afternoon and if they are able to purchase books bring money tomorrow and we will send students later in the day and/or after school
It will remain open for the interviews on Thursday evening and until noon on Friday.
